Frog Bikes has introduced a new range of Road and Gravel bikes for young adventurers, offering parents a way to continue their Frog Bikes journey as their children grow and bikes take them on new adventures.
Offering young riders a way to explore further, the brand has developed road and gravel options, with bikes engineered around 20″, 24″ & 26″ wheel sizes. Critically, as with the Frog way, the bikes are built to be lightweight yet robust.
Optimised for children aged 5 to 13, built for gravel riding, cyclocross and off-road exploration with a durable design and youth-specific gears, the brand knows what is required to make a bike that makes sense to both parents and children – a tough balance to strike.

Adapting bikes for road cycling
For young riders who want to switch between gravel and road, adapting the Frog Gravel range is straightforward.
A Road Wheel Kit is available to purchase, which includes fully built front and rear wheels with slick road tyres, quick-release skewers, discs, and a new cassette (11-34T), enabling a smooth transition from rugged gravel rides to faster road cycling.
Thanks to the bike’s interchangeable wheelsets, swapping from knobbly gravel tyres to slick road tyres requires no adjustments – just swap and ride, letting your rider confidently tackle both terrains with ease.

A landmark year for a British business
The business, established in 2013, with its factory now in Pontypool and head office in Ascot, is also celebrating turning 12 this year.
The business, founded by Shelley and Jerry Lawson, has seen the industry charter choppy waters during its time, with the couple making the 2016 decision to move production from China back to the UK, as part of a drive to simplify logistics, improving lead times.
