Flaér goes direct to dealers

Flaér launched the Revo Via chain performance system at Eurobike in 2016. The company, with backing from a long-established automotive engineering business, has today announced a change in commercial strategy as they move to a direct to dealer and consumer business model.

This new supply chain process will see a change in the pricing structure for Flaér’s flagship Revo Via and Revo Terra product lines as they will now be able to retail in the UK market at £149.95 and in the US at $199.95 with all other product lines remaining at current retail prices.

Flaér sales director, Nick Muddle commented: “This new strategic approach is an exciting development for Flaér as it allows us to extend our market reach considerably by making our groundbreaking chain performance systems more accessible to the mass market. This change is as a result of dealer and customer feedback combined with a desire to bring chain performance to a wider audience.

“As part of this change, we will support all the dealers that have invested in Flaér stock to allow them to meet the new lower retail price point with their current stock. In addition, we will be rolling out an exciting line up of support for grassroots cycling with our new Beta-tester and Ambassador programmes alongside our existing pro-team partnerships.”

During the transition period to their new direct business model and beyond, Flaér will continue to correspond directly to all dealer, product and warranty enquiries to ensure customers are not “adversely affected by the strategic shift”.
