Fizik has introduced the Powerstrap X4 gravel shoe.
The new Powerstrap X4 is a versatile gravel-focused shoe, created for comfort, high performance and a close fit. It is part of Fizik’s Terra off-road series, designed to take riders ‘beyond their boundaries.’
“Fizik has taken its winning expertise in creating performance road shoes for the world’s best racers, and combined it with the best technologies and materials from its programme to develop performance off-road shoes, creating a new kind of shoe, ideally suited to gravel adventures,” said a statement.
“It’s supportive, protective and tough yet light and comfortable, delivering high power transfer, whatever the conditions under the riders’ tyres.”
Powerstrap X4 is available in a choice of three contemporary colourways: black/black, anthracite/grape and mud/caramel.
The shoe is equipped with the Powerstrap Velcro closure, which delivers an enveloping fit. The Powerstrap’s configuration features a ribbon that wraps around the foot, providing secure containment using just two straps. The instep and the midfoot are separately adjustable for customised fit and compression.
Powerstrap X4 features the new X4 outsole, designed specifically for this new gravel-orientated shoe.
It is engineered blending nylon – producing targeted stiffness, and an overall stiffness index of six – with a rubber tread for effective grip and durability.
