First Cube 2020 models now available

The first Cube models from the 2020 collection are now available, including the Cube Cross Race and Cross Race Pro.

The Cross Race is a bike that “blends race-bred handling with comfort and agility, for old school off-road thrills with a modern twist.” Cube’s engineering team built a light, stiff and strong frame and packed it full of innovative features like the specially shaped top tube, the slender seat stays and carbon fork for greater comfort.

The Cube Cross Race 2020 is fitted with low-maintenance Tektro Spyre disc brakes, while the Cross Race Pro makes use of Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes. Shimano’s evergreen 105 gears and grippy Schwalbe tyres complete the package.

Cube added 12mm thru-axles at the front and rear, and it made sure that narrow seat stays and the carbon fork blades were capable of filtering out vibration. Internal cable routing prevents mud and water from interfering with smooth gear shifting, while the ergonomic top tube is specially designed to make shouldering the bike more comfortable.

The whole chassis makes use of Cube’s Superlite Advanced 6061 aluminium alloy and mechanical tube forming process.

Race-ready geometry provides a balanced ride position, ensuring that handling is the “perfect blend of agile and stable”.

The Cube Cross Race is priced at £999 and the Cube Cross Race is £1,199.
