America's 'Fat Cyclist' has teamed with Twin Six to produce a jersey fund-raiser

Fatty produces cancer-busting jersey

America’s biggest bike blogger Elden Nelson – he’s not fat but could be if he didn’t cycle so much – has produced a pink cycle jersey for men and women.

The proceeds are split between the Lance Armstrong Foundation and helping one woman in her fight against cancer: his wife, Susan.

“As my wife battles her second bout of breast cancer, she and I both really feel the power of all the people supporting us by wearing this jersey," said Nelson.

"The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and it makes a big difference to us.”

The limited-edition ‘Team Fatty’ jerseys (and socks and t-shirts) are available here.

The Fat Cyclist blog is often extremely funny and hence receives scary numbers of daily visitors. This fake news piece from April is prescient: it’s all about the Tour de France leader being automatically stripped of title as soon as he wins. It’s logical: all winners must be dopers.
