Fat Lad At The Back expands Stealth range a month after launch

In response to large demand, cycle wear brand Fat Lad At The Back (FLAB) has expanded its unbranded Stealth range just a month after launch.

This move is in response to a demand for products with the same quality and spec as that of the Fat Lad garments which are made from Italian performance fabric. The new lightweight piece will feature the brand’s same cut, design and a rear pocket as well as reflective retailing to the arms and back pocket.

Fat Lad In Charge Richard Bye said: “The Stealth range has really taken off and so we’ve had to cater for that. The current range is, predominately black so we have added reflectivity to ensure that it still offers riders good visibility. The premium quality gilet combines classic styling, the latest Italian fabrics and the unrivalled Fat Lad At The Back fit.

“It’s designed for those who like the concept of the brand, but who prefer to go undetected, so the Stealth range doesn’t feature the F-word anywhere. This lightweight, gilet has a wind resistant front to stop the chill when you are going downhill as fast as your legs will take you, and it’s a great piece for changeable Summer weather when it’s sunny one minute and cloudy the next.”

FLAB was founded in 2013 by Lad in Charge Richard Bye after a search for top quality cycling gear in real manly sizes revealed a significant gap in the sportswear market. The business was launched to fill the void and create something for ‘Mr Average’, middle aged men in lycra, or MAMIL’s as FLAB community members like to refer to themselves.
