Fan of Canyon Bikes and Kraftwerk? This is the bike for you

No, you didn’t read that wrong, Canyon Bike has released the first information on a new collaboration between the brand and ground-breaking German electronic band Kraftwerk.

The bike, which is called the Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk, is part of an extremely limited run of 21 models. It pays tribute to the bands’ aesthetic with a black and white unique geometric pattern, originating from Kraftwerk founder Ralf Hütter’s own design. It is one of the most complex paintjobs ever applied by the Canyon Design Team

“My memories of partying in friends’ basements as a teenager are dominated by hearing Kraftwerk’s groundbreaking sounds. Kraftwerk and cycling have a special and unique connection – their music, and all that they do, has inspired our work at Canyon in so many ways across the years. It is an unbelievable honour for us to pay respect to everything that Kraftwerk stands for and has achieved in such a fitting way with these stunning bikes,” said Canyon founder and CEO Roman Arnold.

The Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk is a performance based bike that features a Grand Tour-winning frameset combined with SRAM’s wireless eTap groupset and Zipp’s 303 Firecrest wheels.

Before final assembly, each frame, fork and cockpit pass through the brand’s in-house CT scanner in Koblenz to ensure absolute structural integrity. Every owner of the Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk will receive their bike in a specially designed Canyon Bike Guard also containing a celebratory commemorative pack.
