Five Mongoose BMXers will be touring the UK in March, including a stint at Bike 2002 at the NEC as well as flying visits to skateparks and selected IBDs.

Famous Five to go on UK tour

The Mongoose riders are Steve McCann of Australia; Americans Tim ‘Fuzzy’ Hall, Scott Wirch, and Todd Walkowiac; and our very own Simon Tabron.

The five will be showing off at Bike 2002 along with 35 other international riders and will afterwards visit Pembroke Cycles Sport of Liverpool, Harry Hall of Manchester and Edwardes Cycles of Camberwell, London.

The ‘Meet the Locals’ tour is co-sponsored by Hyundai, Vans shoes and Ride magazine. The tour will be filmed for a Ride video and also for possible use on OLN, the Canadian cable channel which beamed last year’s Tour de France – live and with commentary from Liggett and Sherwin – to subscribers across North America.
