Clif Bar has signed an exclusive distribution arrangement with Extra that will see the wholesaler sell to the cycling, running, sports and outdoor trades.
John Phillips, Extra UK’s sales director, said: “We’re delighted to have the opportunity to distribute such a well-respected brand as Clif Bar that is really in keeping with our portfolio of great brands we have at Extra. We consider Clif products to be the best of their kind, and this makes us really excited to be involved with the brand.”
Distribution rights begin immediately with stock expected to start shipping to retailers this Autumn.
Clif Bar’s Steve Grossman, director of export, added: “We’re very pleased about the new relationship with Extra UK, which is a well-regarded pioneer in the distribution of sports brands. We look forwarded to building Clif brand presence with them in the sports channel throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.”
