Exept updates online configurator

Exept has updated its online configurator, which enables customers to design their custom carbon fiber bike in detail.

The five-step process allows users to explore the options and create a bike without requiring any personal information until the final step.

Login registration is then required in order to define the user’s personal riding style.

Wolfgang Turainsky, head of sales and marketing for Exept, said: “We made improvements to make the configurator more intuitive and easier to use than before.

“We finalised bike specs and we’ve added all the required information in order for visitors to make better-informed decisions.

“We did all this in order to create a better user experience.”

Exept introduced its configurator earlier this year when the brand was launched to the public in July.

The updated configurator process is organised in the following five steps: platform, version, design, specs and bike fit.

Exept presented its ‘Allroad’ and ‘Classic’ frame platforms last July at Eurobike.

It plans to release the ‘Aero’ platform by the end of 2019 and has said it will expand its offerings in the future to gravel/adventure and cyclo-cross based on market trends.
