Riders just have to grip the lever to adjust the nose angle

Ever wanted to change saddle position mid-ride? Try Flexcy

Adjusting the angle of a saddle is a fine art, but now thanks to Flexcy saddles can be adjusted without having to hop off the bike.

The South Korean innovation can be adjusted upward by three degrees or downward by ten degrees – all while in the saddle by the use of a lever in the front. The rider pulls the lever to adjust the nose of the saddle and when they release their grip the nose angle is fixed. Flexcy comes with a carbon seatpost (diameter 27.2mm or 31.6mm, length 350mm).

According to the makers, who BikeBiz caught up with in spring’s London Bike Show, there are efficiency benefits – riders can adjust their saddle for cycling uphill while riding continuously – as well as health benefits, potentially relieving prostate pain and backache.

Flexcy is not yet available in the UK – the brand is looking for potential UK distribution – and the retail price is under $100.
