New store takes over a former BMW garage

Evans Cycles opens 41st store in Wimbledon

High Street cycle retailer Evans Cycles is opening its 41st store in the heart of Wimbledon.

The new store has taken over a 10,000 sq/m location formerly used by a BMW car garage.

Five Cytech trained mechanics will work in the shop, which will house over 240 bikes.

“Wimbledon is such a great area of London with so many avid cyclists," explained store manager Tim Rees. "We are looking forward to meeting all of the local community and helping them out with all aspects of cycling.”

Free maintenance classes will be held for local residents in the South West London shop. The outlet also boasts car parking on the roof.
