EUROBIKE 2010: Press, manufacturers, retailers and distributors arrive for 'world's largest bike show'

Eurobike opens doors on 2010 show

While the pre-show Demo Day was blighted with rain, the sun was shining for the opening of Eurobike this morning.

Thousands of representatives from the cycle industry are exhibiting or visiting the show, including the likes of Cube, Giant, Scott, Specialized and countless others.

This year’s event promises to throw light on the cycle product trends of the next 12 months, including a focus on using renewable materials for high-end racing and MTB frames, and 29-inch wheels appearing in mountain bike ranges.

Eurobike project manager Stefan Reisinger told BikeBiz ahead of the show that the event is now bigger than ever: “Due to the very strong international participation and the immense effect of media coverage, we can confidently claim that Eurobike is now the world’s largest bicycle trade fair.”
