The all-new, 280-page, PUR-bound, full-colour BikeBizBible hits our mailing house on Wednesday next week. The additional delay was due to a car accident suffered by our printer's pre-press Mac guy. [Get well soon, Dean]. Advertisers get their copies posted first class; IBDs get their free copies sent by Mailsort3, snailmail that's slow but cheaper than standard postal charges. So, what else is new?

ETA for B3

This website, that’s what.

BikeBiz.com is more up to date than a printed directory, although we did manage to smuggle in a few amendments to B3 while a new pre-press Mac guy was drafted in by Border Connection, our printers.

The stats section of the book is a condensed version of the recently tidied-up stats section of this site.

What’s not in the book, but is most definitely on this site, are the sales per brand figures for 2004 from Universal and the Tandem Group.

There’s also a bunch of new ‘cost of doing business’ ratios and other snippets that couldn’t be fitted into the book.

Not seen the stats section for a while? It’s worth a gander:
