Eroica organisers announce new modern bike race

In addition to the classic vintage bicycle ‘ride to the ocean’, Eroica California has added a new ‘race/ride’ format for modern bikes called the NOVA Eroica. The new race will be open to all modern drop bar bikes and feature timed race segments. Only 200 start positions are available for the inaugural edition.

The 40 mile Eroica route is optimised for rider of all levels and leads through the wine country of Paso Robles while offering gravel ranch and vineyard roads of the Salinas River Valley. The medium route of 70 miles challenges riders through the Kiler Canyon, and participants of the 87 and 127-mile routes take in a view on the pacific ocean.

The event starts on the 14th with a festival program including the ‘Concours d’Elegance’ – a vintage bike pageant as well as vintage market.

Online registration is now open here.
