EBCO launching new 2020 range of e-bikes at Cycle Show

EBCO has announced the launch of its 2020 range of e-bikes.

It is launching at the NEC Cycle Show today and models will be available to dealers from January 2020.

U300 Urban Series

Simon Wild has joined EBCO to develop a new range of contemporary e-bikes. Wild joined from Saracen where he developed a wide range of performance bikes with “excellent spec, manufacturing qualities, aesthetics and ride characteristics”.

Paul and Rick Stanforth, the creators of the EBCO brand, said: “This is our tenth year as an e-bike manufacturer and what an exciting and electrifying ride it’s been. 2020 is a special year for us, as we believe this is our best and most focused range yet.

“The market is growing at an incredibly fast rate and we have chosen partners to work with that reflect this pace and advancement in e-bike technology. The new ‘stripped back range’ reflects the maturity of both the e-bike market in the UK and the EBCO brand, having been in the market since it began ten years ago.

“We are delighted to have Simon on board to take the EBCO range to the next level and believe this is the best looking and performing EBCO range to date.”

Wild added: “Working on the 2020 EBCO range has been very exciting, we have really stripped the range back, allowing us to focus on a selection of e-bikes truly designed with the rider in mind!

“Our urban, adventure and street categories feature contemporary e-bikes, designed for riding in the modern world. I was determined to design bikes, built for purpose using modern geometry, the best tech from Shimano and Bafang with clean, understated aesthetics.

S500 Street Series

“EBCO has a decade of heritage in the e-bike market and I wanted to reflect this knowledge and experience while at the same time pushing the brand forward with ‘on-point’ features!

“I believe we have a range that is a fantastic new development for EBCO, offering both the dealer and consumer a simple choice and excellent ride experience.”

Working with Shimano Steps and Bafang exclusively in the range, EBCO offers e-bikes from £1395 to £2299 RRP.

The range features bikes for three aspects of the market: urban, adventure and street.

The bikes will be on display at the NEC Cycle Show from the 12th to 15th September 2019 at stand D-30 and C-32.
