Motorcycle industry-based Direct Distribution has stepped up its cycle trade presence by securing distribution for British-made pads and rotors brand DP Brakes.
Direct Distribution already carries a number of cycle-relevant product, including Michelin and Rubena cycle tyres, Pro Clean care products, MUVI action cameras and the entire Bike It range.
Andrew Robertshaw told BikeBiz: "The pads promise to be the very best on the market, as DP Brakes are a world leading manufacturer of sintered motorcycle pads and has been an industry leader in developing brake pad compounds for 30 years.
"The discs are utterly unique, using a cryogenic freezing process to achieve increased wear resistance (a service life up to 3X that of a non-treated rotor), coping much better with the hot/cold heat cycle associated with disc brakes. Surprisingly, despite their world leading performance, prices are in line with the average aftermarket offerings!"
