Descente clothing returns to Europe

In 2003, Axcent Sports LLC, a company launched by Walton, and Descente North America, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Descente Ltd. of Japan, signed an agreement establishing Axcent Sports as the exclusive licensee and distributor of Descente branded apparel in the cycle, running and triathlon markets.

This license was for the US only but has now been extended to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Walton was president of Hind clothing for five years and before that was founder and general manager of DashAmerica, Inc., the licensee of Pearl Izumi.
