Dennis Publishing, owner of Cyclist and BikesEtc magazines, has launched a new website aimed at road cyclists – cyclist.co.uk.
The publisher said that cyclist.co.uk is not merely a digital rendition of the print magazine, but a standalone website that includes news, reviews and insight from the world of road cycling. Interviews with pro cyclists, amazing cycling destinations and in-depth features on tech, products and cycling culture round out an exciting new proposition, it added.
Cyclist.co.uk builds on print publications Cyclist (launched in 2012) and BikesEtc (launched in 2014).
According to the publisher: "Content on the website will be drawn from both titles as well as having original content generated by dedicated staff. The aesthetic of the website is clean and uncluttered, while the emphasis is on quality editorial.
"The website has been soft launched and is available to view now. The site is still very much in its infancy, with the focus of phase one being on building great content. The next phase of development will be to introduce increased functionality and usability. In its first few days, initial response to the site has been very promising – the average user currently spends over four minutes on the website and views 3.4 pages."
