Tonight will see the doors open to Decathlon’s 16th UK store.
Based in Harlow, Essex at Queensgate Retail Park, the shop will be open seven days a week and feature over 70 sports in store and online.
At 6pm tonight the ribbon will be cut by vice-chairman of the council Tony Hall and UK CEO Thibaut Peeters.
Decathlon is also reportedly opening another store before the year is over, this time in Croydon.
Decathlon’s self-stated goal is to make sport accessible to all.
