Dates for the 20th edition of COREbike announced

Hot on the heels of last month’s show, the organisers of COREbike are already busy working on plans for 2025.

Next year, COREbike will return to Whittlebury Hall, Towcester from Sunday, February 23, to Tuesday, February 25.

It will be the 20th anniversary of COREbike making it now the industry’s longest-running event and, judging by this year’s numbers, it’s going from strength to strength.

Chris Holman, show organiser, said: “We had a record number of advance registrations this year, exceeding 1,600 for the first time in the show’s history.

“By the end of the three days, the badge scans for visitors showed that Monday was CORE’s busiest-ever day and overall we saw 10% more dealers and workshops and 20% more media than 2023, which was already a record year.

“There was a great buzz around the venue, lots of positivity and plenty of orders being taken so hopefully good signs for the rest of the year for the bike industry.”

The initial COREbike was the brainchild of six bike trade distributors with its 2004 debut taking place at the West Brom Moathouse.

From those humble beginnings COREbike has grown and grown again.

The show saw double the number of exhibitors by the time it was 2007 and then it left West Brom in favour of Northamptonshire’s more spacious Whittlebury Hall Hotel.

Will Fripp, CEO of Extra UK, said: “When the show was launched at its original venue in West Bromwich, I don’t think anyone in the CORE group could have foreseen it would still be going strong 20 years later. Apart from the Covid year off blip, the show has been increasing in the numbers of exhibitors, dealers and press that come each year and long may that continue.

“We want 2025 to be a really special edition of the show. While it’s clearly already a very successful formula, we’re in the process of getting feedback from this year’s exhibitors and visitors to see if there’s anything we’ve missed or to find new wrinkles that can be added to make it even better.

“We’d like to thank all the brands and dealers, workshops and press that came this year and we’re hugely looking forward to welcoming them back for CORE’s 20th birthday.”

Registrations for the 2025 edition of COREbike will open in October.
