Folding bike brand Dahon has teamed up with new distribution partners in the key European market of Germany.
Comus International will work as Dahon’s sales agent for the German market with immediate effect. Dahon has also teamed up with bicycle retailer association BICO and its 600-strong membership of retailers. The dealer co-operative’s members will be able to preview and order Dahon folding bikes at Eurobike.
Europe’s largest buyers association ZEG (Zweirad Experten Gruppe) is a long-running Dahon partner in the market and with an increased commitment to the brand will exhibit the Dahon 2012 range at Munich’s Bike Expo later this month.
Details on a new UK distribution deal are expected soon from Dahon, following a severing of the link with distributor Zyro earlier this summer.
“We are, of course, very excited to be working with the highest calibre distributors in such an incredibly competitive market,” said Dahon founder and CEO Dr. David Hon.
“Most of all, we want to reinforce our commitment to our many loyal retail partners and consumers in Germany for they are most important to us. We will continue to strive to meet their needs by providing high quality and innovative products as well as good service before and after sales.”
