Dahon presents ideas on shared bike programmes at World Cycling Forum

Dahon’s founder and CEO Dr Hon presented a short video on ideas to expand the benefits of shared bike programmes around the world at the second World Cycling Forum held from 4th to 5th June in Rotterdam.

The biennial World Cycling Forum brings together key figures and experts from the bicycle industry to share their knowledge on subjects such as the future manufacturing landscape, sustainable processes and technology, and innovative materials and practices. Speakers at the forum, organised by the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry and Bike Europe, included Will Norman, walking and cycling commissioner for the Mayor of London, Manual Marsilio, general manager of the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry, and Denis Pennel, managing director, World Employment Confederation.

Held on the SS Rotterdam, a former cruise-liner, the first day of the forum saw speakers present many ongoing ideas on the future of mobility in urban areas, sustainability in the cycling industry and the role of cycling in our global cities.

Dahon said it was pleased to support the event as the Gold Sponsor.
