Ecobike and Mobiky are both available to the trade

Cycling Made Easy brings two new e-bikes to market

E-bike distributor Cycling Made Easy is launching two new products to the industry – the Ecobike Adventure and the Mobiky folding electric bikes.

The full-size Ecobike Adventure sports bike delivers a 45-mile range on a single charge and sports a high torque hub motor and lithium ion battery, which is incorporated into the frame. The Adventure also uses a Shimano Tourney Mechs system, so riders retain control and pedal response with the option of electric assistance.

The Adventure spent years in development with a Spanish manufacturer working with the Catalonia University in Barcelona.

Exclusively available via Cycling Made Easy, the Adventure retails at £1,699.

Cycling Made Easy’s Ray Wookey said: “We are seeing a massive increase in sales and many people are beginning to understand the economic benefits of using an electric bike. Of course there are known e bike markets such as motor homers and people with caravans, but increasingly we are seeing younger, more style-conscious people wanting to enhance their lifestyle, commute with ease, minimise their travel expenditure – and have fun.”

Cycling Made Easy has also been appointed exclusive UK distributor for the Mobiky folding e-bike.

Manufactured in Normandy, the Mobiky rolls on its own wheels while folded, sports a lithium ion battery and has a ten to 15 mile reach. Worldwide patents protect the bike, Cycling Made Easy said, and the bike retails for £1,299. It is also available with a larger 11 Amp hr battery which doubles the distance on a single charge.

Lights, leather saddle and side stand are all included as standard with the Mobiky.

Wookey said of the electric folder: “We are excited by this special product in that its flexibility means it has so many applications.

“Naturally it is great for commuters or people wanting travel freedom from train travel but it can also be used by car owners wanting to minimise the storage space for a bike on holiday or weekends away.”

Cycling Made Easy said that trade enquiries are welcome via phone on 0208 660 8823.

The business’ showroom is located at 18 Chipstead Valley Road, Coulsdon, Greater London, Surrey, CR5 2RA. Alternativley visit the site at www.cyclingmadeeasy.co.uk
