Cyclevox speakers confirmed for Cycle Show

Cyclevox Speakers, the hire-a-celeb rider service form Cyclevox, is to officially launch at Cycle this week.

As part of the Cyclevox’s publicity drive at the show, Olympic gold medalist Jamie Staff will be live on the Cyclevox stand for an exclusive speaker signing session. Staff is developing his media experience through commentary work for both the BBC and Eurosport and is an accomplished and much sort after corporate speaker.

Sprint-king Staff will appear on Sunday (11) between 12pm and 2pm on the Cyclevox stand (F8a), and will be giving away limited-edition signed Cyclevox Speakers postcards to the first 1000 visitors to the stand – as will all stars at Speakers Signing Sessions.

This exclusive event will be preceded on the Friday (9th) by three Sigining Sessions featuring stars and celebrities from the track, road and global bike challenges. Kicking off the day (10am – 12pm) will be Rob Hayles. Olympian and GB international Hayles was crowned National Road Race Champion in 2008 and currently competes for team Halfords, leading them to victory in the 2009 Tour Series.

At midday pro cycling fans will be able to meet Magnus Backstedt. The likeable, British based Swede is a familiar face to many UK fans, his most notable achievement in a glittering career was that of victory in the Queen of the Classics, Paris Roubaix, in 2004. ‘Maggy’ will be present to sign those exclusive 1000 cards between 12pm and 2pm.

Finally, round-the-world cyclist Alastair Humphreys will grace the Speakers stand between 3pm and 5pm on Friday. Humphreys made a name for himself in long-distance bike rides such as Pakistan to China, Lands End to John O’Groats and most famously that of his round-the-world ride, taking an amazing four years. An accomplished speaker and corporate celebrity Alastair will be signing postcards and copies of his latest book, 10 Lessons from the Road.
