Blog and online retailer Cyclechic Ltd has branched out into product manufacture with a range of cycling accessories.
Branded The Bicycle Muse, the products are pitched at fashion-conscious cyclists and are now available to the trade.
The first product from the range is the Vintage box bag, inspired by the retro bags found with Moulton and Raleigh shopper bikes of the ‘60s and ‘70s.
“When I first set up Cyclechic.co.uk, I managed to source some old stock of these iconic bag,” explained Caz Nicklin, founder and creative director of The Bicycle Muse.
“They soon became our most popular product but when the stock ran out we were left with a lot of disappointed customers…so we made it our mission to bring this fabulous product back to life.”
The box bag comes in white, red tartan and green tartan and attaches to the bike’s rear rack. Ideal for transporting locks, handbags and the like, the lid buckles securely to keep the contents safe. The new improved versions conveniently flat pack when not on the bike and a water resistant inner lining has been added.
