The debut Cycle Trade Expo, dut to take place this year in Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, has been postponed, the organiser has told BikeBiz.
The Expo, announced last year, had faced concerns over its timing from the bike industry.
Organiser Lyme Media said that the delay is not the end for its trade-only exhibition concept and is planning to make a new announcement in Q4 2011 as to the direction the event will take.
The firm said: "We still believe that there is a real need in the industry, as in others, where this type of trade exhibition flourishes, for a central place for the trade to meet, do business and share best practice, new ideas and collaboratively drive the trade forward."
