Cycle Solutions joins C2W Alliance

The Cycle to Work Alliance, consisting of Cyclescheme, Evans Cycles and Halfords, has grown to include Cycle Solutions this week.

The news comes within days of HMRC’s ‘fair market value’ revision for the Cycle to Work scheme.

The Alliance actively promotes the Cycle to Work scheme to raise awareness and take up, and hosted a public meeting for the first time last month. The Alliance has, collectively, helped over 400,000 people take part in the scheme.

“The cycle to work scheme is the fastest growing employee benefit in the UK," said Steve Edgell, a director at Cycle Solutions.

"I am excited to be working with the Alliance to promote the vital health, environmental and economic benefits of cycling.”

The Alliance calls Cycle to Work an essential means in improving public health, cutting congestions and helping the Government to achieve its target of a 30 per cent reduction of CO2 emissions by 2020.
