Cycle Republic opens new store in Reading

Cycle Republic has officially opened its new store in Reading city centre at 3 Apex House, Forbury Rd, alongside the main Reading station.

The brand new shop is equipped with a dedicated workshop where the team will provide same day bike servicing and repairs, whilst customers seeking more extensive repairs can use a courtesy bike free of charge.

The new shop, which is currently stocked with over 130 bikes from brands such as Boardman, Haibike and e-bike specialist Gocycle, will also operate a free ‘try before you buy’ scheme, to help customers choose an appropriate model. On many models, zero per cent finance options are available.

Customers wanting the latest cycling technology can utilise the instore tech centre, showcasing a range of the latest Garmin products displayed on a ‘play table’, along with a range of Go-Pro action cameras.

Commenting on the opening, Cycle Republic managing director Peter Kimberley said: “To have found such an excellent site in Reading alongside the central station is fantastic, the team have worked really hard to deliver a great looking shop, with an incredible range of award winning bike brands, and the very latest in cycling tech and an unparalleled workshop experience.”

To commemorate the opening, Cycle Republic is offering ten per cent off all bikes and 20 per cent off all parts, accessories and clothing until Sunday, August 20th.
