Promotion for Kimberley who will now be tasked with managing retail chain's growth

Cycle Republic names Kimberley as MD

Peter Kimberley has been promoted to managing director of the Halfords-owned Cycle Republic chain.

The seventh Cycle Republic store opened in Bristol last week, just eight months after the first opening at Euston, London and has plans to open further stores across the UK in the coming months. The first outside of the capital opened in Norwich back in March.

Kimberley said, “It has been hugely exciting and rewarding to establish the Cycle Republic team and build the business; it’s fantastic to see it come in to its own. We want our customers to feel that Cycle Republic will give them something unique and so we’ve brought in a number of initiatives that really make Cycle Republic stand out.”

Kimberley outlines his vision for this year and beyond when speaking to BikeBiz earlier this year, which you can read here.
