Cycle Republic appoints Head of Commercial

Cycle Republic has appointed Jim Berkeley as Head of Commercial.

The specialist cycling retailer, now with 10 shops operating across the UK, had brought Berkeley in from his previous role as head of trading for cycles and head of development at Halfords. He has held the roles for ttwo years and joined after three years at Chain Reaction Cycles as head of trading and retail.

As Cycle Republic moves into its second year of trading Berkeley will take full responsibility for all commercial, buying and trading activity across the business, both in-store and online.

Cycle Republic MD Peter Kimberley said: “I am delighted to have Jim on board, who brings a wealth of industry experience as both a passionate cyclist and experienced trader. He joins the business at a hugely exciting time and will be instrumental in driving further growth and continue to develop and deliver our compelling offering to our customers”
