The Welsh cycle assembly outfit is now shipping high-end, handbuilt wheelsets at "unbeatable prices."

Cycle Citi wheel-builds: more Bangor for your buck?

"The wheels are our own hand-built range of high end wheelsets, from a disk-specific MTB wheelset, via high-end alloy 700c wheelsets, through to a carbon rimmed sprint 700c wheelset," said Cycle Citi’s Andy Ward.

The wheels are built in Taiwan but Ward said future batches could be built in Wales

"All our wheels use the finest quality components from Joytech, D.T. and use rims from respected wheel companies," said Ward.

The Bangor-based company may have started life as a low to mid-end cycle assembler but it’s now just as much a high-end products supplier, stocking Scandium road frames and a comprehensive range of carbon bars, forks, stems, seat posts, cranksets and bottle-cages.
