Cycle campaigner creates raincoat range for upright bikes

The Cambridge Raincoat Co. produces "chic raincoats" that are "innovative and will look good on any occasion," said company founder Sally Guyer.

The long, brightly-coloured raincoats have been designed to worn while riding Dutch-style bikes. Made from Taslan, the coats are waterproof, windproof and breathable. There’s one style, two versions, four colours, and six sizes of the raincoat designed by Savile Row trained tailor, Elizabeth Radcliffe.

The standard raincoat costs £155, a version with unobtrusive retro-reflective piping costs £170, with special offers for the first garments bought.

As well as selling the coats online, the range has been picked up by Dutch Bikes of Cambridge, and Guyer is seeking further retail outlets.
