CyberTill, the ASP-based e-commerce and EPoS system developed in the bike trade but now available for any retail sector, is one of three companies shortlisted for the Future Technology Award in the European Retail Solution Awards

CyberTill shortlisted for top Euro retail tech award

Based in St Helens, Cybertill Ltd is headed up by MD Ian Tomlinson, formerly of Abacus of Chester. The company’s EPoS system is run via an Application Service Provider and was officially launched at the Cycle & Leisure Show in March.

The Future Technology Award goes to the supplier who has developed a new technology or a solution that the judges believe will bring real benefits to retailing.

The Awards will be presented at evening bash on the first day of EMAP’s Retail Solutions trade show, 21st May, NEC, Birmingham.

"Being short-listed is a major achievement in itself and I am delighted," said Tomlinson.

"Cybertill is a unique concept that offers huge benefits to a wide range of retailers and I believe the leading-edge nature of our new technology is what has got us to this final stage in the awards."

And in readiness for an Oscars-style, thanks-y’all acceptance speech, Tomlinson said:

"It is the people behind Cybertill that really makes the difference. I am fortunate to have the support of a dedicated team of people, experts in their own fields, who have invested their time, their brain-power and a great deal of hard work to make Cybertill the most powerful and effective retailing tool in the marketplace."
