BMX.com compiles the best of the distributor's content, while Xposure brand receives own portal

CSG announces two new websites

CSG UK has revived the BMX.com url, which previously diverted to GT’s website. The website now compiles the best of the distributor’s BMX content form around the globe, all managed by BMX specialist Chris McCardle from the Poole headquarters.

Co-inciding with this launch, the Xposure brand now has a global online portal, also designed and managed by BMX’er turned designer McCardle. According to Russell Merry of CSG, Xposure has secured distribution in ten countries worldwide in little over 12 months.

He told BikeBiz: "We have kept the management of the brand in the UK but now have distribution in ten countries around the globe as far afield as Finland and New Zealand. Chris has worked with CSG’s Brian Baldis from the USA to refine the 2012 product line and the new site features product, videos, digital asset downloads and social network integration."

Merry added a few thoughts on the rebirth of BMX.com: “Chris builds websites, runs our team and advises our purchasing staff on current BMX trends and having the opportunity to showcase our brands under the www.bmx.com banner is great for CSGuk."

Cycling Sports Group are to ‘push’ BMX this year, with McCardle leading the charge. Expect to see the teams under the CSG banner touring the world, with trips to untapped former soviet block countries planned.

Keep an eye on the BMX.com site for details of a release the Mongoose ‘Know your Roots’ film charting the history of the brand from its birth in the BMX industry back in 1974 to latest antics of riders Ben Wallace and Paul Ryan.
