British titanium framebuilder Craft Bikes has partnered with Industry Nine to launch the COVET, a handmade titanium hardtail mountain bike frame aimed at riders looking for the brand’s custom-build quality in a more accessible standard sizing format.

The new model marks a shift for the Kent-based business, which has previously operated exclusively in the custom geometry market. The COVET will be offered in small, medium and large sizes, giving retailers and riders a clearer route into the brand’s premium hardtail platform.

Handmade in Britain, the frame retains the defining features of Craft Bikes’ custom offering, including smooth titanium tube profiles, advanced 3D-printed titanium components and a focus on long-term durability and ride quality.

The COVET is designed around a 120mm to 140mm suspension fork and is positioned as a fast, capable trail hardtail for riders who prioritise responsive handling, flow and all-day ride feel. Craft Bikes describes the ride as “light, fast, capable and engaging”.

According to the brand, the move into standard sizing has been driven by demand from customers who admire Craft Bikes’ aesthetic and craftsmanship but prefer the simplicity of a stock frame option over a fully bespoke geometry process.

The COVET frame will retail at £4,499 and sits at the premium end of the hardtail market. Pre-orders open in July 2026 through Craft Bikes and its associated dealers.

Craft Bikes said: “The COVET is the kind of bike that reminds you why you started riding in the first place. It’s light, fast, capable and engaging — a bike that genuinely makes you want to ride.”
