London based Muddy Cwtch, a new mountain bike holiday firm specialising in weekend breaks in Shropshire, has today gone live.
Set up by Charlotte Griffin and Craig Jones, Muddy Cwtch is touted as a getways firm for Londoners that can be worked around the typical 9 to 5.
Leaving London Friday evening and returning Sunday, the microadventure will take in the natural single tracks of Shropshire. Riders will visit Church Stretton, The Long Mynd and surrounding areas such as Eastridge and Hopton Woods in south Shropshire. The Long Mynd was recently selected by MBR Magazine* as December’s ‘Best of British’.
Charlotte says; "Whenever we need an airing, Shropshire is where we go to escape. Muddy Cwtch is our way of not only making Shropshire and it’s incredible mountain biking trails more accessible, but providing simple, hearty and nutritious food to more people."
As well as hitting the trail, food will be a big part of the breaks, with Charlotte having qualified in Nutritional Therapy and with a history of working with small, independent food brands and local charities including Cafe Direct, Rude Health and St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney. Guests will be provided with a menu for the weekend that focuses on delicious, sustaining and repairing foods cooked from scratch and with limited wastage.
The Muddy Cwtch website launches today at www.muddycwtch.com and the first weekender take place Easter weekend 3rd Âand 4th of April.
