Copenhagen Bike Show once again brought together the cycling industry in Scandinavia on 7-8 March, with the organisers noting that the show attracted around 12,500 visitors and more than 120 exhibitors from Denmark, the Nordic region, Europe and Japan.

Launched in 2015, the Copenhagen Bike Show has developed into the largest cycling expo in Scandinavia, bringing together industry professionals, cycling enthusiasts, and international stakeholders to advance cycling.

Copenhagen

Held at the historic Lokomotivværkstedet venue in Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Bike Show covered more than 10,000 square metres of exhibition space and showcased the latest products, technologies and trends across the cycling sector. Visitors were able to explore everything from high-performance road bikes and gravel setups to mountain bikes, e-bikes and new mobility solutions aimed at both urban and commuter cycling.

According to organiser Christian Ritter, the show continues to strengthen its role as a key meeting point for the Scandinavian cycling industry.

“Copenhagen Bike Show has developed into an important platform where brands, manufacturers and specialists meet face to face with partners, retailers and engaged cyclists,” says Ritter.

Interest in the event continues to grow. This year’s edition saw a 12 per cent increase in visitor numbers compared to 2025, attracting guests from across Denmark, neighbouring countries, and across Europe.

International participation and new market opportunities

For many exhibitors, the show represents an opportunity to present new products, connect with partners and gain direct feedback from the market.

International participation was also a strong feature of the event. Among the exhibitors was the cycling tourism destination Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit on Spain’s Costa Brava, which used the show to reach Scandinavian cyclists and promote the region’s cycling routes for road, gravel and mountain biking.

“We are a cycling destination offering around 20 routes for cycling tourism, gravel and MTB suitable for all levels. For us, participating in the Copenhagen Bike Show is a great opportunity to reach both Danish and Scandinavian cyclists,” says Lydia Alonso from Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit.

The event also featured niche manufacturers and custom builders, including Japanese frame builder Mr Takashi, who travelled to Copenhagen to present his handmade bicycles.

With the 2026 edition now completed, the cycling season in Scandinavia has officially begun, while preparations for next year’s Copenhagen Bike Show are already underway.

“We are seeing growing interest from both exhibitors and visitors, confirming that the show has become an important platform for inspiration, dialogue and business opportunities within the cycling industry,” concludes Christian Ritter.
