Continental expands Grand Prix 5000 range with S TR and TT TR size extensions

Continental has expanded its high-performance road tyre offering with the introduction of two new Grand Prix 5000 sizes: the GP5000 S TR in 35mm and the GP5000 TT TR in 30mm. The GP5000 continues to evolve, with these new specifications responding to changing rider demands.

The Grand Prix 5000 series is a comprehensive range of road tyres designed to perform across a wide variety of riding conditions. An all-rounder, the S TR is built to be light, fast, and strong for riding where speed and reliability are equally valued. And designed in the pursuit of speed, the TT TR utilizes a stripped-down casing to achieve the lowest possible weight and rolling resistance.

GP5000 S TR
The latest addition of 35mm width option to the race-proven GP5000 S TR range expands the tyre’s capabilities across varied terrain, while enhancing comfort on longer, performance-focused rides. The increased width allows riders to run lower pressures, helping to reduce vibration and improve comfort, while maintaining performance and puncture protection, making it ideal for multi-surface racing in all conditions.

GP5000 TT TR
Dedicated to speed, the TT TR is now available in the 30mm width, offering a larger surface area for increased stability and adhesion when cornering at speed, while supporting composure over long-distance efforts. This added confidence encourages riders to push harder through technical sections and extract every ounce of performance. By utilizing a specialized 2-ply casing to minimize rolling resistance, the TT TR remains the fastest tyre in the range.
