23 Degrees Sports Management of Spain, the management team behind Global Racing, has paired up with Orange Bikes of Cumbria to launch the Blue Peter-esque competition on the Global Racing website.

The winner’s artwork will be featured on every Global Racing Team Mountain Bike for the 2002 race season and the winner will win an Orange MsIsle dual frame with the new decals.

There are also runner-up prizes of a signed team jersey by World Cup Champion Greg Minnaar

and a copy of the new Sprung 5 video.

The judges are members of staff at Orange Mountain Bikes and Martin Whitely of 23 Degrees Sports Management. They will be judging on the use of colours and artistic quality, but importantly, will also base their final decision on ease of production. There will also be peer voting as all designs will be uploaded to the Global Racing website.

Entries close 16th December 2001 with winners announced on 5th January 2002
