Its musical chairs at Concept as they part company with Stateside and Ideal but retain Pedal Pals and acquire 100-year old Viking Cycles

Last week it was the turn of Stateside and Ideal to make their trade announcments about under new management, this week its Concepts turn.

A press release from Concept confirms the sale of Stateside and Ideal and adds that Pedal Pals has been retained and will be relaunched in June.

An earlier launch date is scheduled for the Viking brand, recently acquired from Viking Cycles, which has decided to pursue interests outside of the cycle trade.

Viking bikes will be built in Concepts Manchester factory and will have RRPs of £199 and up.

The Coyote brand will also soon be available in complete bicycles and not just framesets.

One final change: Concept have changed the name of their Ideal Bicycles Ltd sunsidiary to AXCS Ltd.
