iBikeRide has announced that Comrie Croft has been named the 2016 UK Trail an Bike Park of the Year.
The British public, who ranked 2016 winner BikePark Wales second and Farmer Johns MTB Park third in the annual report, made the decision based on a series of in-depth judging criteria such as community values, quality of trails and park development. Laggan Wolftrax, Black Mountains Cycle Centre and the Forest of Dean also featured in the top-ten list.
Based in the Streatham Valley in Perthshire, Scotland, Comrie Croft features a range of blue, red, black trails. The centre also features natural trails and a popular bike skills park.
Founder of iBikeRide Daniel Mintz said: "When analysing the review comments, it’s clear that trails and bike parks that combine constant development of new trails, a focus on variety and have a good selection of technical trail features that allow for progression for all ability levels, whilst retaining a natural feel are what riders are basing their experiences and their ratings on."
