Monday, 29th of September, marks the opening of Evans Cycles‘ latest store in London’s West End, reasserting its ambition to reimagine the modern cycling retail experience.
The new 4,500 sq. ft. store, located just off Regents Street, will feature an elevated entrance space complete with a trained mechanic on hand for quick fixes and on-the-spot repairs, above a dedicated showroom showcasing over 180 bikes and a carefully curated selection of the world’s best cycling brands.
The store will also feature a fully-stocked Shimano Service Centre, including Brompton-accredited servicing, tailored for the needs of busy city riders.
Colnago at Evans Cycles
As part of the opening, legendary Italian marque Colnago will return to the Evans Cycles line-up, giving riders access to one of the most prestigious names in road cycling. Colnago’s arrival signals Evan Cycles’ renewed commitment to serving riders seeking higher-end performance road models alongside its options for every type of cycling discipline.
Customers will also find an extended range of the newly relaunched Vitus brand, spanning gravel, hardtail, road and MTB bikes, as well as the new AW collection from dhb, the brand’s latest performance cycling apparel line. Extended ranges from familiar partner brands will include Brompton, Trek, Specialized, Cube and Endura.
Robert Bentley, Managing Director of Evans Cycles, commented: “We are continuing to push ourselves when it comes to what customers can expect from a bike retail experience. Not only in terms of our visual merchandising, own brand offering and the depth of selection from our partners, but also in the services we provide. The training of our workshop staff and the welcoming, hands-on experience that begins the moment someone steps through the door. Our goal is simple. To make cycling more accessible to everyone while delivering an experience that inspires confidence at every stage of the journey.”
As with all Evans Cycles locations, the London store will offer a range of finance options, the government-backed Ride to Work scheme and a convenient Click & Collect service – allowing customers to browse online and collect in-store with expert handover and setup.
