Chicken CycleKit has been selected as the exclusive UK distributor for Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso’s new brand, Bend36, a body care/riding range.
Their exacting requirements have been delivered in collaboration with Alessandro Rombelli, whose “shared love for cycling alongside his expertise in the industry has led to a range of truly ground-breaking products with genuine USPs versus other brands”.
All Bend36 products have achieved the Play Sure doping free certification that ensures that any substance banned by the World Doping Agency is not included in the manufacturing of the product. It is the “first and only cosmetic brand that can proudly boast this certification”.
The brand is IBD-friendly with an “excellent stockist margin” and Chicken CycleKit has said it will be actively looking for dealers in the coming months. To encourage dealers to try the range, it will send FOC samples to any dealer that gets in touch. In-store, free of charge POS combined with chamois cream samples to give customers will be part of the package.
Contador and Basso have both pledged ‘huge budgets’ to promote the brand and will be joining Chicken CycleKit at shows and dealers throughout the year.
