Industry veteran Steve Boehmke wants more European clients for his California-based PR business

CFEprPlus seeks to extend reach in Europe

Steve Boehmke, owner of CFEprPlus, has worked for Euro brands Hutchinson, Ergon, adidas eyewear, and Selle San Marco. In 2010 he helped Hutchinson gain exposure in Popular Science magazine, Men’s Health and Wired.

"I’ve really enjoyed working with European Brands to build their business in the United States," said Boehmke.

"We know the decision makers at all levels of the bicycle business here in North America, so we custom-tailor programs to maximize the growth of our European partners."

As well as PR, Boehmke is a trade show marketing specialist, favouring Sea Otter Consumer Show in April and at Interbike Las Vegas in September. He can offer input on booth design and location, special activities, product placement in relevant publications and party planning, he said.

He also has close contacts with pro teams and bike media editors.

Boehmke was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 2001 for his work at Shimano and RockShox.
