Cervélo has announced the launch of its new Soloist road bike, with the updated platform delivering claimed aerodynamic and weight improvements over the outgoing model, alongside a refreshed build line-up featuring carbon wheels, power meters and an integrated cockpit across all complete bikes.
The brand says the new Soloist is aimed at riders who want one high-performance bike for racing, training and fast group rides. The top-level Soloist Red AXS build is claimed to weigh 6.85kg out of the box, putting it on the UCI weight limit.
According to Cervélo, development work began in CFD, with changes including a deeper head tube, deeper fork legs and a revised bottom bracket junction designed to improve airflow around the rear wheel.

Aerodynamic and weight updates
The result is a claimed 8.6 watts of drag savings compared with the previous Soloist. Cervélo says a further 4.3 watts can be saved when using the new Soloist aero bottles.
Despite increasing frame surface area by almost 3% and fork surface area by more than 8%, Cervélo says it has reduced weight across the frame and fork. The Soloist frameset is listed at 1.45kg, while complete bike weights range from 6.85kg to 7.41kg across the launch builds.
New aero bottle system
The new Soloist also introduces aero bottles designed to reduce drag while remaining practical for day-to-day riding and racing. Cervélo says the bottles stand upright for filling and the cage is compatible with standard round bottles, allowing riders to use bottles from neutral service, aid stations or regular ride set-ups.

Race-ready specification
All complete Soloist builds feature carbon wheels, a power meter and Cervélo’s HB18 one-piece bar/stem. Build options include SRAM Red AXS, SRAM Force AXS, Shimano Ultegra Di2 and SRAM Rival AXS, alongside frameset options.
The highest-spec Soloist Red AXS build includes DT Swiss 42|49TA 240 Dicut wheels and a Quarq power meter. Force-level builds use 42|49TA 350 wheels and Quarq power meters, while the Ultegra Di2 build uses a 4iiii Gen3+ power meter.
Retailer bar/stem swap programme
Cervélo is also offering buyers an additional HB18 bar/stem in a different size at no extra charge. Requests must be made through the authorised Cervélo retailer where the bike was purchased and within the first 60 days of ownership. Cervélo will ship the replacement cockpit to the retailer, which will carry out installation.

UK pricing
UK pricing starts at £5,500 for the Soloist Rival AXS complete bike. The Soloist Force AXS and Soloist Ultegra Di2 builds are listed at £7,000, while the flagship Soloist Red AXS build is priced at £9,000. Framesets are listed at £3,500.
