Cav invests in Science in Sport

Sprint star Mark Cavendish has invested in sports nutrition company Science In Sport plc. As well as being a shareholder he becomes an SiS ‘Elite Sports Consultant’ and will be "integral in product development decisions," said a statement from the Lancashire company. 

Cavendish has been using SiS products for many years, starting when he was a junior. More recently, SiS has developed a range of custom products following his input. 

“I’ve been working with SiS informally for many years now, so I’m delighted to be joining the team officially as an Elite Consultant,” said Cavendish.

The three-year consultancy deal starts in January.

SiS is the official sports nutrition supplier to Rapha Condor JLT, Belkin ProCycling, Madison Genesis, Pro Team Astana and Team Katusha.
