Nate Moroshan has set up a new BMX brand – currently without a UK distributor – under the Cardinal Bikes label.
Moroshan, who himself is a professional BMX rider, has sparked a debate about the use of a vertical dropout on his company’s first prototype BMX frame.
In this interview with Transworld’s Ride BMX website, Moroshan said of the odd dropout choice: " I always ran my wheel slammed into the dropout and had a difficult time taking my wheel off with the chain being so tight. You can run any gear ratio. A regular chain works with this frame, but a half link chain is going to give you more adjustment. This is what we’ve been using and strongly recommend it."
