Cardiff bike shop campaigns for a yellow postbox for local lad Geraint Thomas

A tweet from Bike Shed of Cardiff suggesting that Geraint Thomas should be recognised in his home town with a yellow post box is going viral.

The Cathedral Road bike shop said: "Geraint Thomas received a gold post box in Cardiff for an Olympic gold medal. We would like to propose a yellow post box in his home town to celebrate what would be a wonderful victory."

Barring a monumental mishap on today’s stage into Paris Thomas will win this year’s Tour de France.
