Campagnolo launches new Chorus groupset

Campagnolo has expanded its 12-speed groupset family with the launch of a new Chorus groupset this month.

The new group benefits from a lot of the technology born through the Super Record and Record models but at a more affordable price, the brand has said.

The chainset has been redesigned and has a new PCD which can accommodate 48/32 as well as 50/34 and 52/36 compact models. The rear mechanism mirrors the design of Super Record and Record but can accept 11-34t. The mechanism has an increased spring rate to increase shifting speed and accuracy. The dampening upper body spring which was introduced on the higher-tier groupsets is featured on the Chorus mechanism.

The front mechanism is similar again, featuring the two cable positions which helps with tyre clearance when using higher volume tyres. The Ergopowers are redesigned and are a “perfect option for smaller riders”, also thanks to the additional lever position and revised body designed. Caliper and disc brakes are available with the hydraulic brakes featuring a new pad design with a return spring aiding in piston-rollback. The brakes are now pre-filled with oil, so no bleeding is required.

Stock will be available shortly, to pre-order visit chickenb2b.co.uk or speak to your account manager. For further information phone Stuart Townsend on 01525 381347.
